Cloth Paper Scissors interviewed me about my studio space, how I make it my own in a home full of guys, ways I keep things (sort of ) organized, etc. As you can see, I surround myself with color, texture and lots of eye-candy.
In addition to the Studio Spotlight feature, I contributed a fun pillow project to this issue.
Reverse appliqué is one of my favorite techniques, especially when combining felt and fabric. For this pillow, I used a bit of silk sari yarn, made from recycled Indian saris. Great color and texture pops!
