Hi Guys…
I’ll be gone now for a week to Cincinnati for a photo shoot for the book. We’ll be shooting all of the photos for the step-by-step instructions for 30 projects. I even got a manicure for the occasion! I’m excited to meet my editor, the book designer, and all of the other people at the publisher who believe in me enough to try to make this thing happen!
It’ll be great to be back in Cincinnati. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati where I got my degree in fashion design. I contacted a few of my former professors and will get to meet them for dinner one night. That’ll be a hoot as it has been more than 15 years since I graduated!
I am looking forward to a blast from the past, my alma mater, some Skyline Chili, a drive through my old stomping gounds. Did you know that the movies Little Man Tate (with Jody Foster) and Fresh Horses (with Molly Ringwald) were both filmed on MY campus? I know, another brush with fame…
By the way, be sure to check in here next Saturday, 2/3 when I return. I’ll fill you in on my big adventure AND reveal some exciting news!
