I’m anxious to get my August issue of Family Fun. I love this magazine!
Family Fun mag always has such great project ideas for families. I hang onto my copies forever with little corners folded down in each issue to remind me of all the good stuff in there. I was flattered that they asked to feature my ” Super Foamerator” that I came up with to entertain the kids last summer. If you get your hands on a copy, you’ll see where they credit the idea to me on page 17 along with a little heart that says “blogs we love”! Aw, shucks. The feeling is mutual. Oh my goodness – I read this and immediately went out and made the kids some. Now they are in the yard making their own snake bubbles – thanks so much!
So THAT’S what I can do with my old musty bath towels! There’s only so many cleaning rags a household needs, after all, and this looks like much more fun than dusting!
I just got my magazine in the mail today! It was so fun to see. My kids are excited to try it!
I keep a few of my favorite old copies too. I even have a couple from when my 12 year old was little.

I just saw this issue! So I had to look you up, and discovered, I had seen your fabrics on The Fabric Shopper blog. I feel as if I know you. 🙂 This is a great idea, and I think it will become a station at my little girls birthday party next weekend!
I saw this idea in the magazine and LOVED it. But, I’m here because I saw you on “blogs of note” via blogger, not because of the magazine. How funny. What a small world. This idea is so cool. My sons are going to go nuts for it when I finally get my rear in gear. It’ll be in conjunction with our next car wash so that the bubbles and soap can be easily sprayed off :O)
I don’t exactly know what’s going on with that bubble thing at the end but it looks like fun. I want one.
I work for a children’s museum and we did this with one of our camps last summer after finding your post. We decided to do it again with museum patrons on the Fourth of July this summer. It has been a big hit both times. Thanks for the great project and summer fun!
