Last week was a complete blur for me! I just finished a huge design project that kept my nose to the grindstone and out of blogland for the week. I can’t tell you about that project yet, but I can share this one!
I am one of the 28 Mom Entrepreneurs featured in this new book: Country Living – The Mom’s Guide to Running a Business by Michelle Lee Ribiero!
There’s a great workshop section in the back that offers and overview of business plans, financing, work-family demands and staying on track. I need to carve out a nice chunk of time to devour that section of the book! No matter where we are in our journeys, we could all use advice, refinement and perspective.
My boys were pretty interested in seeing the section of the book where they were featured. Their names and photos appear, which I think they both enjoyed and felt a little funny about at the same time. I know how they feel. 🙂 Plus, lead times being what they are with books, their photos and printed ages are from 2 years ago! They’ve changed so much since then. (On the other hand, I have not aged a bit…haha!)
I encourage you to check out the book!
In other news: The Felted Birdhouse Workshop begins today! You may still register!
In even more news: My next self-produced organic fabric collection is to be revealed tomorrow! I’ve hinted at it recently and now I am ready to share it with the world. I will introduce the line here and there will be a SHOP UPDATE TOMORROW! I’ve got yardage of the new fabric, small cuts, sample sets and some sewn goodies made with the new fabrics.
I can’t wait to show you!
Fun news! Congratulations! I’m looking forward to seeing your new fabric line tomorrow. 🙂
what a cool resource! I will definitely have to check it out, thank you for the recommendation.
That looks like a great book!
Congratulations Betz! The book looks wonderful and you absolutely have not aged a bit xoxo
The Country Living book looks great. I’m a fan of their mag and they always do lovely articles on women in business. So glad you got featured!
Shari
Betz that is wonderful (you photograph really well, too, lucky you!). So happy to hear you’re busy with good things.
Congratulations! Glad to see you in this publication.
Way to go Betz! You are an inspiration. Can’t wait to see the new fabric!
the book looks like a charmer and i can’t wait to see what’s up your sleeve next!
Wooowhoo! I’m so excited to see your new fabric. And I love the Macro prints. I’m imagining it as picnic tablecloths–or shower curtains even.
Good for you and the new book. That’s amazing.
Looks like a fun book to read! I love mom business owners…congrats Betz! I’m a personal chef who cooks for families in their homes but have balanced my life to still want to cook for mine. Doing the dishes…that’s another story 😉
Nice! Would love to read this. I agree with Wisecraft, you are photogenic.
