I’m super excited to be exhibiting my knits collection in the Emerging Maker area of the New York Now show, a trade show for the home, lifestyle and gift industries. It’s a four day show at the Javits Center in NYC in just a few days!
Last week I added six new styles to my knit Eco-throw collection! I design each one and specify every detail down to the stitch. I’ve partnered with a small US mill that makes them to order using a really cool recycled cotton-blend yarn. They are nice and big and great for snuggling! You can see the whole collection at Betz White Studio Knits.
This style is called Backgammon. It’s fuchsia, white, mustard and eggplant. Really fresh and modern! It measures a generous 50″ x 60″, great for one or cozy for two.
I’m also a little bit giddy over my Eco-tot collection! Blankets and pillows for the little ones! The Eco-tot blankets are made with the same recycled cotton-blend yarn as the big guys and are machine washable, too. The “Fox & Houndstooth” design and the “Owl & Pussycat” design each come in two color combinations. Baby Bird and Herringbone designs come in a more gender-neutral color palette.
And even more fun, I designed some pillows! Each pillow cover has a cute animal face that coordinates with the blankets. Plus! On the flip side is a fun little surprise.
It’s been a flurry of activity around here: New designs, sampling from the mill, photo shoots, editing, uploading, printing…but I think I am ready! My ambition is to acquire some great new wholesale accounts at NYNow! I’d love to get my work into shops around the country. I really believe in this product, it’s quality, the sustainable nature of it and love that it’s made in the USA! Win-win!
