Stuffed bunny in basket

Meet the Tagalong Bunny! She’s a great addition to an Easter basket, baby gift or friend for a friend that needs a friend. I made mine with an upcycled cashmere sweater, a dainty Liberty print fabric and some felt scraps. The little collar is optional and removable.

If this project looks slightly familiar, you may be remembering my Tagalong Teddy project from my book Present Perfect. I’ve updated the project into a new PDF pattern that includes templates and instructions for making both the bunny and the bear. More soft friends, yay!

You can get this new pattern now for FREE when you join my Patreon page.

You see, I’ve been thinking about creativity and making and what that means in 2025. We need it more than ever. And we need it to be affordable and accessible, right? So I’ve decided to start a Patreon page where members can access exclusive projects and enjoy a bit of crafty community for just $5 a month. (There’s also a free level if you want to just poke around and get inspired!)

My hope is that by having a paid membership tier at an accessible price, enough people will opt in to make it worthwhile for me to continue to create and share! The more support I have the more I can give back. Honestly, it’s an experiment and I’m taking it one step at a time. 🙂

In addition to free content there will be some exclusive projects for paid members only, such as this adorable Bunny Portrait Appliqué Pattern for the month of March.

I love this simple little decoration that can hang on an egg tree, a door handle, or in any little corner that needs a touch of cuteness. And with minimal materials!

That will be another focus of my Patreon projects: keeping costs down by using what we have in our stash and repurposing things.

Ok, one more photo of these two cuties together! Can you even?

If you’re unfamiliar with what Patreon is, in a nutshell, it’s a subscription based platform that allows creators to create and share their work, build community, and be supported by those who love what they do!

I hope you’re as excited about this as I am and you’ll join the fun and get a monthly dose of crafty camaraderie!
