Last week was my birthday. I got a little something from Spain that I wanted to share with you.
My brother and sister-in-law were traveling in Spain on vacation and picked out some beautiful gifts for me. A silk chartreuse (not charmeuse) scarf with fringe, a silver barette, and two felty deedle-bobbers! My sister-in-law is the best wrapper-upper, too. True to form the packaging is almost as beautiful as the gift.
I’m loving those felty flower hair fobs. I might have to start making my own version…
You’re welcome! And I am so impressed that you know the Spanish term: deedle bobbers. We were hoping they would inspire you. Thanks for the complement about being a good wrapper upper too. – Kris

They had the BEST hair ornaments in Spain! I miss it. I might have to pull out one of my mantilla combs tomorrow. Happy belated birthday!
