I love a project that uses up pieces from my scrap bin. I found a whip up tutorial that was posted a while back. It shows how to make your own custom covered tape measure. Super easy! I put my own twist on it and used felted sweater scraps. (No, I don’t really need a dozen tape measures…I hope to sell these at my upcoming fair!) What should I call these? They are so cute, I gotta name them…
cute little things

Hello – I’ve never posted a comment here before, but I do love your site. How about “Flowers by the Yard” or “Flowers in the Yard”? : )
So cute! I’ve been meaning to make some of these since I saw patterns for some measuring tape covers in a Japanese craft book I got over a year ago — but yours are much prettier.
Oooh, I love the play on words…thanks!
that pretty! I like much your Web
They are fantastic, I’m sure they’ll do well at the fair.
Hey super, nice idea. How about “felt and measured”?
Poppy Tapes! That’s the first name that came to me when I saw these cuties. Love them! I’m off to whip up to see the tutorial 🙂 Love yer stuff Betz! Keep it up.
How about Whirly Twirlies? Please say you’re going to post some of these for sale on etsy… I think I want one!
