There is so much to consider when preparing for a craft fair. Not only are you creating beautiful wares to sell, but you need to have attractive packaging for your items once you sell them. In the past I have used lunch bags with my logo sticker on them and colorful tissue. For my upcoming classy affair I thought I would step it up a notch.
Bags, tissue and other packaging can really add up. It’s hard to figure out what you need and how much to buy without eating into your potential profits. Not knowing where to start, I bopped on over to the switchboards for some friendly crafter advice. After a poking around a few forums, I came across a recommendation for Nashville Wraps. Score! There is no minimum order and they had a ton of great options.
I ended up buying an assortment of pink merchandise bags in various sizes and a big ream of white tissue. I also came up with a special “show only” gift wrap option. These brown and white stripe candy boxes are the perfect size for my cupcake and cup o’ joe pincushions! (The boxes came folded flat so I don’t have to worry about them taking up too much space at the show.) I also got a big roll of pink grossgrain ribbon to finish it off. Yummy!
I love the box you chose and the perfectly tied ribbon, how classy!
You are gonna be a star at the CL fair! I wish I could be there to lend a hand.
Anyone offer you a spot on HGTV yet?
I love the packaging you decided to go with. I agree that packaging adds so much. The craft show looks fabulous…I wish I was there to attend đ Good luck & have a great weekend!
Wow, that’s beautiful packaging! Good luck! :)(I’ve been lurking around, and I think this is my first comment…)

I must confess:
I’m in love with your pincushions, they are just great!
And I agree with you when you say that the package is a very, very important part of the sell.
