I really wish I could show you some compelling WIP from my book! But I can’t…It’s consuming all of my time, yet I am unable to share the fruits of my labor. Hey, speaking of “labor”, wanna see an “ultrasound” photo of my developing “baby”?
There it is.
Oh, I know it’s not much to look at, to an untrained eye. But in that stack of fiber and color are the makings of some fresh and creative projects!
For inquiring minds, the book is due out late 2007. It will be all about felting with recycled wool, full of projects to make…and yes, cupcakes will be involved. 🙂
Looking forward to this book! I love working with recycled wool.
Sound exciting! Keep us posted.
How exciting, maybe you can share with us your compiling process ups and downs etc. Would love to see how the final thing comes to be, can’t wait for the finished book!
Looking forward to your book – I really hope that I will found it in Sweden?! Please!
Where do you get all the recycled wool from?
It’s just not fair! All these crafters blog about finding striped wool sweaters at their thrift shops. I find too much acrylic.
Is it because I no longer live in the land of deep snow drifts and seriously freezing temperatures?
Love the look of all this fiber. Will keep an patient eye out for the book.
(sigh) What a beautiful assortment of sweaters.
I just don’t seem to have that kind of luck when I’m out looking.
Good luck with the book, I will be looking forward to it!
Yea! I can’t wait!
FELT, beautiful felt — thanks for showing us the upcoming baby 🙂 What a lucky woman you are to find such lovely items and know what to do with them!
Holly cow! That looks like my closet! I love wool sweaters… I can’t wait to see your book to figure out what to do with all of them! I have unraveled a few for yarn, but felting is so much more fun (and faster!)…
