Check out my shop for my new felted wool “scrapbags”!
Each bag is a rainbow of recycled felty goodness ready for crafting. No need to spend time in a thrift store hunting for wool sweaters to felt, I’ve done all the work for you! These gallon-sized bags are full of colorful scraps suitable for making small projects such as brooches or to be used as accents on your other crafty projects.
I had the idea to put these together when I was preparing to teach my workshops. They were a hit! So many people just don’t have the need (or time) to buy their own color spectrum of wool sweaters. Plus, they are pre-felted for your convenience!
(kind of like those pre-washed bags of mixed salad greens you can buy at the grocery store…only lintier.)
**UPDATE: Wow, What a response! Not only did you guys snatch up the first batch, the second batch is sold out, too. More to come in a week or so! Thanks everyone!**

Your last line cracks me up… “only lintier”! Ha!
That’s lovely!! Do you have a easy way of felting wool? I’m just a beginner at most everything and would like to learn.
Thank you!
Waaaaaah! I was too late! They’re all sold! Oh well, it was a great idea, and hopefully you’ll sell some more in the future. 🙂
Ohhh, I missed them too. Please mke up some more!

Great idea – I missed reading yesterday’s post – will be sure to get in on the next “lucky dip”.
What a fantastic idea! However, I missed out, so I hope you’ll consider doing it again …
Please make more when you can! I missed out as well!
Thank you for doing this….and please, please do more if you can, as I missed out on this round. What a terrific idea!
Oh no! I missed out! It is an excellent idea and I hope you’ll do more in the future. I’ve searched my local thrift shops and come up with very little colorful feltable sweaters — almost all I find is drab or grey.
what a great idea!!!
I was too late in getting to your store – do you plan to put together any more? I would buy one for sure!
Wow, thanks everyone! Yes, I promise to get more scrapbags up on etsy soon…hopefully in the next day or so. Please check back!

Brilliant!!!!
I hope you get more soon, you are SOLD OUT! 🙂
What a great idea, little scraps all wrapped up in a baggie. Oh, those classes looked like so much fun, I wish I could have been there to be one of your students. Lucky sewers.
Don’t you love the Twin Cities? They are heaven. An editor at North Light Books named Jessica is moderating the panel I am on in Lexington. Small world, huh? Stefanie Japel’s book is on fire, look out for your book. Cupcakes on felty fire!
Enough already. Hope you are well.
