And now for a public service announcement: The following cover and title is the UK edition of my book, Warm Fuzzies. Same book, same projects…different cover, different title. If you already own one of them, you’re good to go.

I have gotten email from people asking about my “second book”. While it is true, I am working on a second book, this is not it. (more details about that coming soon!)

Do you know how it feels when your kids ask you a question and you think you know the answer? Then when you start explaining you realize maybe you really don’t have a good understanding of it? That’s how I feel about this second cover/title. I think it’s confusing, which is why I am bringing it up.

Amazon UK offers both and in fact suggests that you buy the two together! If you are so inclined to own the same book with two different covers, by all means do so. Just consider yourself informed.

Apparently, this is a common practice in publishing, to offer a book in a different market with a different look. However, living in the cyberspace of blog land, we are all free to “visit” each other in other countries, sometimes not even being aware that we’ve crossed the border. So was this really necessary? Beats me…

Anywho, I’m not going to pretend I have a full understanding of it. From now on, when someone asks me why, I’ll say, “That’s just the way it is.”
