Back from Boston…what a quick trip! I arrived early evening Wednesday. The weather and the lighting was beautiful so I dropped my bag at the B&B and immediately headed out with my camera. I stayed in the Back Bay area near the Boston Public Garden so I headed there first.
Entrance to the gardens…people everywhere on their walking commutes after work.
I got a good dose of autumn light and color before heading over to Paper Source and Anthropologie. I never take the time to window shop these days and it was the perfect evening.
This is the view out the window of my room. Boston has such a beautiful mix of old and new. Check out those slate shingles! I settled into my room to watch the season finale of Project Runway…only to discover a lack of television! Fortunately the dining room downstairs had a TV, so I parked myself and my knitting and caught my show.
Thursday I met the fabulous knitters of the Greater Boston Knitting Guild. They were very receptive to me and my destructive ways with knitwear. 🙂 Thanks to everyone that came to listen and play with felt! I had great time. Afterward I was off to the airport and on my way back home.
Oh. and I finished my hat! Photos later…Have a great weekend!
Your photos of Boston are lovely and bring back memories of the last time I was there. I need to return.
I’m in love with your beautiful & fascinating pomander. And thanks for the tutorial. I think I’ll put it on my next post with links to your site.
