In addition to the give-aways going on here at the blog, there’s new excitement to be had over at my etsy shop. Announcing my etsy shop Customer Appreciation Give-away! Feast your eyes on the felty goodness below.
The Betz White Customer Appreciation Prize Package consists of:
One autographed copy of my book, Warm Fuzzies
One set of four holiday “felted bird” cards
An original Betz White Cupcake Pincushion© with gift box
One felt butterfly brooch
One felt flower tape measure
The Rules:
Buy anything in my shop from 10/22/08 through Thanksgiving Day (11/27/08) and be eligible to win. On 11/28/08 I will randomly select the winning name from those buyers! How cool is that? Be an early-bird holiday shopper before turkey day and you’ll be automatically entered in the drawing. 🙂
So, pop on over to the shop! I’m updating it today with lots of fresh goodies! More cupcake pincushions, because there’s no such thing as too many…
I’ve got new colorful wool scarves…I love these! I’ve only got 4 in the shop but hope to whip up a few more soon.
Ooooh, I wish you could reach out and pet this unbelievably soft cashmere scarf. It’s heavenly! I’ve repurposed two cashmere sweaters and made them into this red and pink scarf trimmed with felt balls. I made a scarf for myself a few years ago trimmed with felt balls and I get a bunch of compliments every time I wear it! I have 3 more cashmere scarves in queue, waiting on the arrival of more felt balls to trim them out. Hope to have them posted by week’s end as well as some journals and ornaments.
There’s a few other things available I haven’t mentioned here. I will be updating the shop regularly so be sure to check the announcements at the top of the shop page. I wouldn’t want to you to miss anything! 🙂
Come back Friday to see who has won week #1 of the blog reader give-away!
Betz – you are so so sweet! What a great prize package for one of your customers! I love the scarf from cashmere idea – I have thrifted an orange cashmere sweater that felted beautifully – now I need to look for another that will go nicely with it! You are an inspiration every time I peek at your blog! Thank you!
ooooo! Cashmere soft….mmmmm…
Dear Betz,
I have stumbled upon your blog after being inspired by a girlfriend to start felting again.
Her blog is http://thisandthatcraft.blogspot.com/
I made a felted wool blanket for my father 3 Christmas’s ago when he was fighting Lou Gehrig’s disease. He passed away a year ago and just recently my mother returned the blanket to me. it was a first attempt and to look at it now it’s not even that good but I loved making it and I remember the look on his face when I gave it to him and that memory warms me still.
I had given up the crafty notion but started looking up felted wool crafts that are warm and cute and found you on Martha Stewart! Your work is wonderful and original! I feel again that I might try some light and fun projects and am asking for your book for Christmas.
Just a question…your sweaters are so colourful! what is the wool to other fibres ratio that you use? I’ve only ever used 100% wool sweaters…but apparently blends work as well…how low a percentage do you use?
thanks for your time in reading this. I look forward to reading more of your blog and your book!

Your scarves that you added to the shop are gorgeous!! I will keep checking back for the ornaments. I was hoping you would be adding some of those to your shop. 🙂 Thanks for the updates!!

I just found your blog, but I wanted to tell you that I LOVE your book. I haven’t made any of the items yet, but I have a wish list of projects one of which is the Bomber Hat.
Your ideas and patterns are wonderful!
