Hey, thanks for all of the skirt love. A few of you have asked if the Heat-n-Bond is strong enough to secure the felt appliques. Sometimes I go back and re-fuse them if they detach. The flowers on my skirt are all sewn down in the center with a button, so even is they peel away a bit, they are not going anywhere. They can also be tacked or embroidered down. I have another skirt refashion coming up, as soon as I can get to it. Busy times, you know!
Speaking of……I’ve updated the etsy shop today. I totally CRANKED this weekend to fill the shop for Cyber Monday and December 1st already! Note: December 15th is my cut-off date for shipping in the US in time for Christmas. And as a little bonus to you, I am throwing in a FREE adorable gift box with each purchase of a cupcake pincushion between now and 12/15.

Have you seen the Starbucks Holiday decorations this year? They seem to have some recycling going on, including sweater material around the bottoms of the tables. It inspired me to try a felted sweater Christmas tree skirt, but when I went to Goodwill there were no red sweaters! Clearly all your fans have bought the place out. I’m creating a yarn ball wreath instead, though it occurs to me that using green sweaters and making a felted sweater wreath is not a bad idea…
Love the breakfast pillow, love the cup cakes, love the skirt…..come to think of it, I love everything you do here on your blog. I linked back to you on my blog today, I tried my hand at the pomander! It was so fun to do, and although not nearly as pretty as yours, I was quite pleased. if you get a chance, check it out!
That is my favorite pillow ever<3
Love your skirt, too.
Trop chouette ce coussin!!
