The boys were sad this morning that I’m off again on another trip. đ (I’m a little sniff-ish about myself) This one’s short though, just overnight.
I’m heading to Spool for a Stitch Party complete with chit-chat, book signing and a trunk show of all of the Sewing Green projects. C’mon and check it out! Saturday at Spool I’ll be teaching my MYOB (Make Your Own Bag) workshop. There’s still space if you’d like to sign up!
Meanwhile, I’ve got my eye on Mother’s Day, coming up fast. I plan to have Nest Brooch Kits listed in my shop next Monday, 4/27/09! My nests were a super hit at Purl last weekend and they are fun fast and easy to make!
Gotta dash…have a great weekend!
P.S. Today’s Blog Tour and give-away is at Wardrobe Refashion

the nests are so cute! enjoy your trip.
Hi Betz!
I bought 5 yards of 100% wool interlock last year and now don’t think I’ll be using it for it’s intended purpose. If I super-felt it, would it work for your projects? I have your Warm Fuzzies and will likely get Sewing Green, so it would be great if this yardage would work.
Thoughts?
Leelee
Hi Leelee,
I have not tried felting 100% wool interlock for the projects in Warm Fuzzies. They were designed to be made from felted wool sweaters. I suspect that it would work for some projects (like scarves) but not for others (like the messenger bag).
Keep me posted!
Betz
These are the sweetest nests ever. holy moly. I can just imagine a whole wall filled with them. I don’t know why that came to mind, but wouldn’t it be cool?
These little nests with the blue eggs are delightful!
