Thanks to all who entered the One Word give-away!

Donnelly, who said, ” My word for this year is Simplify. I am working on making the things in my life more simple so I can enjoy my crafts, my job, my home and my family more.” is the lucky winner of the Lisa Leonard necklace give-away! Congratulations, Donnelly!
You all shared so many lovely words with a little reason behind why you chose them. I thoroughly enjoyed reading them, you gave me a lot to think about. Many of you chose “breathe” and “dream” and “simplify”. A few surprising words were “bacon” and “cookies”, both of which I love!
Thank you for entering and I hope you keep the word you chose tucked close to your heart, letting it guide you through the year ahead.

Thank you so much!
Congratulations Donnelly…happy for you…only a wee bit sad for me. Funny cookies really resonated with me too…so very clever.
congrats to the winner. i recently heard this quote and have been thinking about the word, persevere:
“Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did.” ~Newt Gingrich
My necklace came yesterday afternoon. I love it.
I wore it to work today. One of my little ones at school today said, “Miss Donnelly, that is one beautiful necklace. What does it say?” He is a first graders, so we sounded it out. Then he wanted to know what ‘Simplify’ meant. I told him it was to make life less stressful, he liked that idea.
Thanks again!
