Since February is the month of *LOVE* I plan on spending the month sharing the love shown for Stitch! Stitch Organic is my first print collection with Robert Kaufman. Over the last year you’ve heard the news, seen the sneak peek, the big reveal, and followed me to Quilt Market. Finally at the end of 2011, Stitch shipped!
In honor of my “baby” being out in the world, I am hosting a give-away of this big stack of Stitch Organic Fat Quarters! That’s 22 prints in all!
Over yonder in the sidebar—–> you’ll see a new “Stitching for Stitch” Flickr photo pool. It would make my little heart sing to see projects that you’ve sewn using Stitch. I’ve gotten the ball rolling with some of my projects and a few new members have already joined me. Check it out for inspiration!
Also, for your clicking pleasure in the sidebar, is a button that will take you to a Stitch Info page. You’ll see a slide show of the full collection plus links to shops that carry the fabric. I’m slowly building my stockist list, so if you are a shop (online or neighborhood) that carries Stitch, email me and I will add your shop to the list!
All right already…on with the give-away! (Since this is a big fat heavy stack, I’m limiting the give-away to US mailing address only!)
To enter, leave a comment before midnight EST, Friday February 10th, 2012. In your comment I would love to know: What kinds of prints do you gravitate towards? Florals? Geometrics? Modern? Traditional? Large scale? Ditsy prints? Bold colors? Muted palettes? Do tell!
Winner will be chosen randomly and notified via email, so be sure to leave contact info. Special thanks to Robert Kaufman for donating the fabric!
***Comments now closed! Winner will be notified via email. Thank you!***
What a generous offer: thank you.
I prefer traditional prints, but since I love the scrappy look, I also tend to mix things up a bit.
Beautiful fabric collection!
I gravitate toward Geometric prints, but also monochromatics and things like polka dots.
I love tiny prints, bright colors as well as geometrics. Thanks for the chance to win!
I like smaller scale prints, and probably more folk artsy ones, although I do like modern as well. These prints look gorgeous from the little itty bit I can see…can you post pics of the full patterns? Would love to see them!
I love bold patterns in vintage color palettes with a modern twist!
Hi Miriam,
To see the full print collection click on the new Stitch logo button in my sidebar!
Thanks,
Betz
Fun! I hope I win. I think all the prints are lovely, but I tend to gravitate more towards the florals. I could have a lot of fun crafting with this stack!
I like large scale prints and bold colors mixed with neutrals. This is a gorgeous line, thanks for the chance at winning some!
and yes, I have a US mailing address 🙂
ourbusylittlebunch(at)hotmail(dot)com
Such a gorgeous collection! I tend to buy geometrics, modern, and large scale the most often. One of the things I love about this collection is the way you played with scale – especially the super-zoomed knit print!
I love small florals or things that look like they could have been vintage bed sheets. I also always love a good polka-dot!
I like interesting prints that are unique and typically not selected by the “crowd”.
I love modern geometric prints (like dots and crosshatch–blenders) for quilting, large florals for clothing, and tiny prints for tiny patchwork projects and fabric earrings. So, I like it all!

Thanks for the giveaway! I like modern florals and geometrics, and bold (although not necessarily bright) colors. What a beautiful collection 🙂
I love modern colorful prints!
I lean more towards modern and geometrics, but I like to complement them with some florals too. Guess my style is “eclectic”. Nothing too matchy-matchy. Love your new fabrics. Thanks.
The fabrics are bright and colorful with the perfect balance of lights and darks for easy blending when sewing. I gravitate to fabrics which are retro inspired along with complimenting basics like dots, stripes, swirls and dashes.
That fabric is so beautiful!
I gravitate towards florals in medium prints, large is too large, small is too small and I like muted palettes but sometimes bolds speak to me. I’m usually intimidated by their loudness.
I lean toward soft, muted, and vintage. Bold colors are statement-makers, and I just don’t make statements. I love working with bold colors for things to giveaway, though. They wake up my senses.
I am drawn primarily to florals… but I love traditional and geometric prints as well. I’m sort of a fabric junkie, actually. Variety is the spice of life, right?
Congratulations on your new fabric! I tend to gravitate towards muted geometric prints, although I do have a special place in my heart for bright oversized florals.
I have such an eclectic taste in fabrics. I think it mostly depends on the project I’m working on. Overall I think it may be bold floral design that I buy the most of.
thank you for the chance! i am streaky with my fabric choices, but find lately I’m enjoying vintage and vintage inspired fabrics, though i just received a bold, bright fat quarter pack for the holidays and am loving that as well
I love florals and dots and scrolls. I also love bright colors. Right now, I think of orange and turquoise!
blessed.mama4 at yahoo.com
I definitely gravitate to bold, geometric prints. And I would love to win this! It looks gorgeous. I am having a baby boy in a few months and it looks like there are lots of boy friendly prints in your set. Congrats!
I tend to gravitate towards more modern prints in bold colors.
mirja74 (at) comcast.net
It’s hard to describe what I buy! It has to catch my eye in some way – sometimes that’s the subject matter, sometimes it’s what I’m needing in my stash, or using at the moment. I like bold colors, but I also like neutrals. Mostly modern prints, but some traditional too. I’ve found I don’t use a lot of stripes, damasks, or small scale prints, and sometimes multi-colors are hard to work in. Taste is such a tricky particular thing, though!
I love geometric patterns that are modern take offs on vintage stuff. And COLORS! I always like color patterns on a white background – it really makes everything pop.
I love about anything but really like retro/vintage designs.
I think I lean towards “ditzy prints” as you suggested. In looking at my fabrics they are bold and prints with a lot of wonky design. Thanks for the giveaway. I really hope to win this bundle!
I prefer modern prints of all types, but am always drawn to prints that will do the hard work for me. By which I mean that their design provides movement and interest on its own. I like fabric designs that have something to say, some point of view–also known as “personality prints”.
Thanks for the chance to win such a lovely stack of fabrics!
That stack of prints looks amazing-would fall off my chair if I won them, and would just sit and pet the quarters, but I digress…
Prints I tend to favor are generally natural, organic looking-I love batik-ish, watercolor, marbeling, etc. and not-so-representational prints. When I look for fabrics, the color comes first, and the pattern second. I also appreciate prints that can be viewed from all perspectives-a kaleidoscope view, as it were.
Thanks for the opportunity to win these fabrics!

What a gorgeous collection! Love the colors! I tend to gravitate toward geometrics and florals equally and I love the modern fabrics!
My favorites seem to change depending on the block design but I really love plaids, stripes, or dots for binding :o)
How exciting! Right now I’m wanting to make a “Jane Brocket” quilt and so am going for bright colors — specifically yellows. I do love florals but I don’t think my husband wants a floral quilt so I need something more traditional — maybe botanical.
I love a good combination – modern, muted with a splash of bright, geometric, and a nice floral thrown in from time to time! Thanks so much!
I love to pick out bright fun fabrics. Geometrics are fun and I seem to collect novelty style fabrics alot.
I love large scale prints and geometrics (and of course organics)!
jitterbug1 (at) gmail (dot) com
I love bright bold fabrics. Large and small prints. Oh how I would love to win this and decorate with your prints!
Beautiful fabric collection!
I love flowers in the autumm colors.
Greetz.
Ria Zandbergen
love small florals and little circles, mostly like muted tones with a bright accent
I love bright colors and a mix of everything! I love changing things out with the seasons!
Lovely! I love florals – small to medium in all colors and color combos.
I LOVE the bold colors and definitely gravitate towards florals. These fabrics are beautiful 🙂
[email protected]
Beautiful!!! I tend to gravitate towards bright geometric colors. I love stripes and dots.
Wow that is a lovely stack of fabric. I love all colors and very modern. Thanks for the chance at a great giveaway.
I LOVE modern bold prints for bags and hats and baby burp cloths, but I use alot of muted, ditsy, traditional prints for wall quilts. Lately my cravings for Spring have been affecting my quilt stash in a very vibrant way ^_^
You can get a hold me either via my blog or here: [email protected]
Keeping my fingers crossed!
Congratulations on your collection, it is gorgeous!
I love modern prints in almost all colors, but sometimes I do like the more whimsical prints (I recently bought a half-yard of bright purple fabric w/ hedgehogs on it!).
craftyjunk at gmail
I’m always drawn to vintage-looking prints, and I like muted backgrounds with brightly colored accents, both florals and geometrics. Thanks!
I love stripes (for sashings and borders), florals, bold colors and muted backgrounds. Guess I really like it all. Love the blue/green portion of this line.
Fabric is fascinating. Something I would never think is my style, jumps out at me. Next thing you know, I am making something different! Good to get out of my comfort zone sometimes.
Beautiful fabrics! Lately I’ve gotten modern florals. I intend to make some things for my little girls!
WOW These fabrics make me drool!
Strips, dots, flowers….bright colors. Mix and match them with neutrals. Thanks for the chance to win this bundle.
I just walk into a store and find whatever prints catch my eye. I guess I don’t gravitate towards one particular kind. It really depends on the project I plan to make.
I like anything Vintage in bright primary colors
I’m a huge fan of muted civil war fabrics, but I love using brights when I make quilts for my grandchildren.
How fun; thank you! I prefer all-over, non-directional prints. Love paisleys! And bright, saturated, jewel colors.
GORGEOUS prints! My favorite prints are – what ever my current is. I change all the time. Sometimes it’s the color that excites me and others it’s the prints. If you looked through my stash, you’d see some of everything. I’m consistently inconsistent!
I can’t say that I just have one favorite. I love modern and traditional. It makes for a nice variety in sewing and keeps me from getting bored. I’m not a big fan of the 30’s fabrics but other than that, it is whatever strikes my fancy.
I tend to favor florals
Betz, I love your new line. The colors and prints are lovely. I tend to gravitate toward more vintage style prints, softer, more linear, and retro looking.
Weel Bets, I love warm colors, in larger designs. This is fun
I’m happy to say that there is not very many prints that I don’t like. I love bright, bold colors and things that just jump out at me and say “buy me”! Of course, I need some muted fabric too to mix and make things pleasing to the eye. Thanks for the giveaway! [email protected]
I general prefer larger florals in a cool palette. But I also like geometrics.
I tend to gravitate toward florals, but I love building my stash of geometrics to balance things out!
Lately I’ve been digging geometric and abstract prints in bold colors.
Lovely fabrics and such a generous give-a-way!!!! I would enjoy creating for my daughter with these fabrics!
I gravitate toward Vintage looking fabrics at the moment….I guess I am just ‘Feelin Groovy’ 🙂
I love the geometric prints and this made me drool!
Distracteddebra @gmail.com
I like bolder prints. the brighter the better!
Yummy fabric bundle. Certainly would make a fun quilt.
I like to work with a variety of fabric designs and colors, it just depends on the project. But, I guess Bold colors would definitely be one of my favorites.
SewCalGal
http://www.sewcalgal.blogspot.com
I really love modern colors, with smallish prints. I’m not too big on geometrics, though. And I do love retro looking prints, especially those for children. Thanks for the chance to win! 🙂
Love, LOVE the geometrics!!
Congrats & what a generous way to celebrate with such a beautiful stack of fabric that I would absolutely love.
I’m a big fan of vintage looking fabrics, but I also like muted… greys, blues, greens, browns that sort of thing.
I don’t know if I’m drawn to anything in specific. I like happy colors! I am often drawn to tone on tone prints because I like using them when I need a solid but want something with more texture to it. Thinking of what I’ve done in the past, I like bright colors with whites, and bold colors in prints.
I like geometrics and solids! thanks!
there is NO giveaway I’d rather win than YOURS!!!! I’m such a huge fan of your craftsy classes, your felt AND your fabric. My I’d love to win.
I really had to think about this, as I suspect that I am drawn more to colour combinations than design. I like florals and geometrics and more modern designs I guess. I really like fabric that’s a bit unisex. I do like more muted tones for myself, but when I make things for my daughter and her friends, I prefer brighter colours. Seriously, I am a bit like a kid in a candy store when I go into a fabric store. This is such an AWESOME giveaway. I love these fabrics of yours (particularly the blue/green/grey tones -since you are asking for preferences)
I like floral prints in bright colors and lively, but in general I love all the fabric, their smell and touch them
Mant thanks
Ely
I love working with geometric prints, traditional or modern. The clean lines always inspire me for new projects.
Thank you!!!
Ida
Love finding some bold colors and patterns to show case, and mix it up with some muted but related tones. I’ve only been quilting and sewing for about a year now, so I’m making progress as I go. LOVE the Stitch Organic line! I’d love to win some 🙂
I love bright colors and fun prints! I love any fabrics that have to do with nature.
Your line is so wonderful!! I am also a knitter so this line is right up my alley.
I gravitate toward bold, geometric small to mid-size prints. I love fabric that gives movement to the design.
Thanks for the great giveaway and Congratulations on such a wonderful entry to the fabric world!!
Congrats on the fabric line! I picked up a jelly roll and I think it want to become a throw for the couch. Now I just have to pick a pattern…
As for prints, I am a huge sucker for polka dots. And stripes. And bold, colorful geometric patterns. But these rules so do not apply in my wardrobe of mostly solids. Hmm…. wonder what that says about me?
Just in case I win (since someone has to) the email is ddejongboots (AT) hotmail (DOT) com. What a great giveaway!
Wow! What a great stack. I go for any patterns….but gravitate towards the florals and big bold patterns. Love it.
I;m drawn to vintage prints, especially red/yellow/turquoise/black/gray…but also just love what I love!
What a generous and awesome giveaway!! I love all sorts of fabric designs and colors. mostly bold colors, some florals and geometrics–see? too hard to pick! 🙂 I do gravitate towards certain colors depending on my mood. A lot of reds or browns, etc… Thanks to Robert Kaufman for the donation! Awesome!
I like stripes and florals, usually smaller prints. It really depends on the project for the colors–I love blues, though. Thanks for the fun giveaway!
I like bright, bold patterns mostly. Also fun patterns like robots or frogs. I try pay attention to the subtler patterns and lighter colours, too, but the bright ones are so pretty!
I like floral prints
I hope to be lucky.
Thanks
Beatrice Scisci

What a nice stack of fabric! I like vintage prints….but also love to collect a theme to do patchwork.
I love traditional smaller prints that can be mixed and match with all types of lines of fabrics. Love dark colors.
Oh, what a delightful stack of fabric that is! I just love the knitting designs you have you…’bout time and you did a great job with it. 😉
I tend to gravitate more towards florals myself but I do like a nice monochromatic geometric too~ its hard to choose.
Thanks for a nice giveaway!
Sadly I can’t enter your giveaway but congrats to you for such a fine collection.
Thanks for the chance! I love Bright Colors small or large scale…
Hello!
I love big, warm and inviting prints. Anything to make you say, “Yay! I’m alive!” kind of colors and prints.
Wow, what a great giveaway! I’d have to say that my favourite, while I do like muted colours, has to be smaller florals. I was covered in them as a child, hated them as a teen, then came to love them as an adult.
I’ve not seen your fabrics at my local shop yet, but I hope they show up soon. 🙂
Oops, almost forgot: my email is froggieogreen (at) gmail (dot) com.
I love any pattern but am drawn to bright, fun colors, especially paired with white.

I’m ADD about prints – one day I’ll like bold geometrics, and another day I’ll like quiet earthy prints. I do love large scale florals consistently though. Especially if they’re in an unusual color pallet.
i love florals and geometrics.
I love bright colors! I also love vintage prints. I really appreciate the giveaway!
I like modern prints of small to medium scale. Geometrics, abstracts and stylized florals, leaves or other natural elements. I like bright unusual color combos or beautiful subtle neutrals
I love bright modern color combinations. I also gravitate towards small scale prints. These would be so amazing to win! My fingers are crossed.
I love all kinds of prints gravitating more to colors. Right now I’ve been loving just about any color paired with brown.
Love large scale prints and florals. Gravitate to bolder colors, but not always! What a great giveaway…thanks to your sponsors!
What a colorful collection! I really like the floral with the bright green background. I guess that’s what I always gravitate to – green. But generally I do like florals. Thanks for the chance to win!

I gravitate towards fabric shops! Any fabric that jumps at me gets to come home with me–I’ll create something with it. I love tropicals. Thank you for the giveaways; this one is gorgeous!
Wow! Would love to win! I gravitate toward geometrics, but I’m starting to eye florals a little more these days… perhaps because I’m thinking of spring?
What wonderful fabric! Thanks for a great give away. I like brights, since most of the quilts I make go to Project Linus.
I always seem to be a bit muted or pastel – but I’m really really trying to get bolder, braver and I think I’m getting there … slowly 😉
Um, all of the above! For me, it’s more about color and how the prints will mix together. I like to mix up print types for a more scrappy look. Beautiful line – those blues Gand greens are great.
Wow what a nice giveaway! I love bold colors and also cute prints. I don’t remember the designer bit just bought some of fabric that shows how to make paper airplanes, do cute.
Oh dear, these are gorgeous!
I lean toward modern prints, bold to muted colors, no pastels. Small prints, usually.
I find myself with a lot of modern florals and novelty prints, but anything with an interesting color palette will catch my eye!
bethgsiegel at gmail dot com
I like all sorts of prints – modern, some florals, small geometrics, etc. Anything that’s fun and interesting.
Thanks for the chance to win! ccmailnc at yahoo dot com
I have a little bit of everything, but they mostly fall into the holiday category (Christmas and Halloween), knitting themed fabric (yarn and/or sheep), or prints with sweets or coffee. I’m also drawn towards the folksy, vintage geometric patterns on fabric lately too.
What beautiful fabrics! I tend to gravitate to geometric prints.
Right now I like clear, bright, bold color. Patterns could range from background “solids” to paisley to floral or whatever. Color draws me more than pattern. Thanks!
Right now I’m using up a lot of scraps in an eccentric, brightly colored quilt. So next I’m looking forward to a coherent line in understated colors (specifically: Joel Dewberry).
Oh my goodness, it looks especially gorgeous all stacked up like that!
Because I sew for the children’s hospital I tend to go towards cutesy, flowery prints or Batman type prints but I realize I need more geometric for the older teens at the hospital. This fabric would be awesome for the guys and girls.
I like a variety of colors, patterns depending on the type of quilt as well as what I want to do with the quilt and who will get my quilt – a young child, friend, myself, … traditional, primitive, civil war type, thirties, and when I am a playful mood I want brights,, cheerful…
Hi!
I love your new collection!
I prefer Florals & Retro fabrics.
I also loved your book, and was inspired by it in my sewing!
What an amazing giveaway! Thanks for the opportunity. I am typically drawn to both muted AND brighter colored fabrics. I love florals and some unique and cute prints.
I love vintage with muted colors. However, my daughter inspires me with her bold, modern aesthetic.
I love flowers, and bright ones at that! But what really draws me are contrasting fabrics that go together well. Mix and match that work together well, but are a surprise… Your fabric is beautiful.
I go for modern and bold. I tend to go for smaller rather than very large patterns or prints.
I am generally a fan of clear/clean patterns, no muddiness or heathered colors, and I like the traditional/modern style–striped, uniform polka dots, but I also love what I’d call a “neat organic” look–simple leaves, clouds, raindrops, birds. I’m a weird one, but I know what I like!
I love bright bold prints and cutsie ones. Thanks for the chance to win!!
Wow, what a great giveaway!
I LOVE color and so many different styles of fabric. Lately I’ve been stashing a lot of geometrics and more modern prints, mostly because I was lacking them.
Thanks so much for this chance! I love modern prints with bright colors. Some big flowers some geometric.
This is a great giveaway! Thanks for the chance to win. I love all kind of fabrics especially organics. I will prefer either bold patterns in bright colours or small cute flowers in pastels. [email protected]
Gloria x
I’m a traditional floral person in mostly muted colors. Just found your blog and love it!
Oh how fun! I love modern, bold florals as well as modern, bold geometrics. 🙂
So cool!! I love bold prints but “ditzy prints” sound great too. Thanks for the chance.
I love color. The brighter the better. I love modern prints…but am also drawn to simple stripes or polka dots.
I have a soft spot for retro/modern prints in bright blues and green and if I’m feeling brave citrus. I would love to use your beautiful fabrics in a project.
Hi Betz! That stack is so enticing! Love the crochet backdrop! I gravitate toward geometrics and I love saturated color. Congrats on Stitch and thanks for the giveaway!
Either something grabs me or it doesn’t. Sometimes it’s a color combo that I want in a lot of different prints, others it’s a print that I have to have in every color it comes in. Lately I’ve been into upholstery fabric samples, in all weights, colors and textures. Why? I dunno! Also into 1950s retro prints and colors – very comforting, like going back home, as I enter my 4th childhood. Thanks for a really sweet giveaway.
Those floral prints will knock my socks off every day, especially darker backgrounds. I am a flower girl.
Oh, thank you for the opportunity!
I’m pretty eclectic in my tastes, love traditional florals mixed with bold prints. Muted mostly, but some brights thrown in here and there.
Thank you again!
Oh how exciting, these are lovely! When I was pregnant, we decided not to learn the gender if our baby. That’s when I learned that most things made for kids is for boys or girls. That really touched a nerve so I’m big on colorful, gender neutral prints, mostly geometrics I guess.
I love and have it all, except your bundle. Traditional seems to make my heart sing the most.
lhs4664(at)q(dot)com
Thank you for the chance to win. What a lovely stack of fabric!! I love all fabric !!!! Love traditional, modern, 1930’s, brights you name it.
My eye is typically drawn to bold funky prints especially if they have a touch of whimsy to them. I seem to steer toward reds teals and oranges a lot.
Currently working on a Modern print but next project is traditional.
Hallo,
I like all fabrics. From civil war till modern. The colors sould be bold colors. I like little prints and most uni fabics.
Thank you for your pretty Blog
Elke from Germany
This is fabulous! I recently bought a new machine and these prints would be so fun to play with!
I tend to gravitate towards bold colors, modern and geometric prints!
Thanks for such a generous giveaway!
Graphic, bold and bright and I am naming my next puppy Kona!
I love really modern, fresh looking prints. I also have a weakness for anything paisley: go figure!
I love any kind of aquatic color – given that palate, just about any form suits me – I find that as I have gotten older, my tastes have actually become broader rather than narrower. I must say that the bottom half of your stack suits me to a T in terms of my color preferences, but the top half is providing new inspiration!
Thanks for the opportunity!
Love your new collection. I’d say I’m a vintage person, but love deeper color, not pastels. Thanks!
I love larger, bold colored prints. But I find I’m also really drawn to prints that are a bit rustic looking – I have several prints in my stash that remind me of the scenes in Dirty Dancing 2 when they are in Cuba! 🙂
Thanks for the giveaway!
Rae Lynne ([email protected])
i gravitate towards fabrics with lots of color and modern prints. I like bold or small prints. I love fabric!
yanuzo at hotmail dot com
Hi Betz,
I love modern prints and images of birds and trees. I am also crazy about chocolate brown for some reason right now. It would be wonderful to win! I really liked your earlier fabrics. My address is tthorme at yahoo dot com.
Cheers,
Trisha
oh pretty prints. I love florals, modern prints, and ditsy prints as well. What a magnificent giveaway!!! Thank you! Hope I have luck.
Betz:
Thanks for the great Stich give-away! I love folk floral fabrics and tonal fabrics, like those found in your Stitch collection.
Geometrics are my favorite, but like most quilters, I love them ALL.
Your new collection is so pretty!
I love mostly bold, colorful, small and happy prints =]
Oh, thank you for givind a chance! Ansering your question – I like traditional and floral prints with small elements.
Thanks!
Elena pOlenko
What a fun way to add fabrics to my projects
I guess I carry a mixed bag, but tend to be more traditional. I think I am more drawn to color, or combinations of colors, more than the patterns. Good luck with the fabric line! ([email protected])
My tendency is to go for a medium to small scale print and I love to mix florals with geometric prints; my color palette can be bright and bold or strong color in browns and greens. What a great chance to possibly win some of your great fabrics!
Kristin
Congrats! They are beautiful!!! I tend to love floral prints with lots of color 🙂
Thanks for this great giveaway! I go for modern prints, mostly bold color but sometimes take a break with a more neutral project. I guess I like a little of everything!
I love color and more vintage/modern mix.
I definitely find myself gravitating toward bright geometrics, like Ta Dots and pretty much any kind of stripe. The best ones, for me, have a distinctly modern vibe.
And that stack is saying great things in that same vibe!
Are you kidding? I consider myself an unrepentant textile-aholic! I am love the modern prints but usually don’t use them in household decor. I love civil war prints, too! Love to make quilts with those. Plus, 30’s 40’s and 50’s bright happy prints, my kitchen is mostly this style….kind sounds like I’m a mess! Thanks for the chance to win!
Thanks for the lovely give-away!
I’ve always been drawn to swirly, complicated patterns with loops and dots…love damask, anything black and white…and also muted colors like sage green, rust, and grey.
I’ve got two cute babies that would love some clothes and blankies made from these fabrics!
Very nice, thank you! And congrats!!!
I love bold colors! And since I sew mostly for children right now, playful prints and shapes also catch my eye.
Thanks for the lovely giveaway…
I am drawn to all sorts of prints, some favorites: geometric eye bending patterns, old fashioned symbols, geometric florals, patterns that bring the forest, woods and fairies to mind….
I love color, bright and pretty prints, solids and patterns. The bolder the better! Thanks for the giveaway…. Angela Fitch
endure1231 (at) gmail (dot) com
It’s so gorgeous sitting there all wrapped up together!
I’m pretty eclectic and buy all sorts of fabric. But, if I was going to choose one thing that I gravitate towards it would be prints with little illustrations that appear hand-drawn. And bright colors. I love bright, rainbow-y colors.
I would like to play.
Wonderful fabrics.:)
I like them with tiny pattarn,flowers,squarea anything…:)
http://petite-armoire.blogspot.com/
Greetings
Bernadett
Just love the new fabric line. Your blog is a pleasure to read. I am an eclectic when it comes to fabric. I like to mix things that would not seem likely to work together. Traditional floral with minimalist geometrics, silks and cottons, colors that clash, etc. Makes for an interesting sewing experience. Laura
Modern, ditzy, bold colors… but always what draws me are the novelty prints :)… I also get drawn in by how a line looks all together, so if there are eye catching combos (grey, orange, purple, or yellow teal orange) then I’ll always stop to take a look.
I gravitate toward organic shapes and geometric prints, often with botanical themes.
I also can’t stop loving all the Japanese tiny illustrated kids style prints.
I gravitate towards oranges and pinks. Florals, stripes, and more bold colors than pastels.
When browsing I’m drawn to bold prints- especially Japanese imports. But when I’m picking out fabrics specifically for a quilt I tend to pick out small scale prints and traditional patterns. kcarlson1152[at]hotmail.com
Thanks for the chance to win the R Kaufman giveaway – that stack is just what I like to create with & the colors are beautiful! Your blog is an inspiration to me & my daughters.
I am in love with all the modern prints…I want more fabric every time a new line comes out!
Would LOVE to have these beautiful fabrics! Right now, my color choices are vibrant solid colors because I am working on things to match my Amish Quilt – black background, with a double wedding ring pattern of solid “Amish Colors” – for smaller crafts and gifts, I tend toward small florals or bright funky patterns. Oh what the heck, the truth is – I love fabric!
I love mod type prints in fun colors, pretty much any colors but pastels. Funky geometrics with a lot of contrast please 🙂
Just finished several big projects so could use some inspiration!
If I have to pick from your list it would be modern geometrics, large or small, and anything in bright vibrant colors!! Congrats on your 1st fabric line and I loved your “green” book. I checked it out at the library as I can’t afford to buy it just yet but it’s on my list!
I just love all kinds of fabrics. I do like all colors, but tend to gravitate to bright funky colors. I think smaller to medium prints do better with quilting, but I do love big prints for other things.
email: iamlilymunster at gmail dot com
Thanks for the giveaway!
I love bold, graphic and large scale
prints.
I love modern/retro cheerful colored prints. Hipster doofus prints!
I like prints that are Geometric, Modern, Traditional, that don’t incorporate too many colors, or are monochromatic, etc.
What do I prefer? Reproductions are my normal gig…ok Civil war Repro. to be exact. HOWEVER on a spring whelm I have been known to pick VERY bright, large flower prints, that seem too realistic to be fabric. I make them into bags or large picnic blankets.- Mary
I love your fabrics. I especially love all blog. I have a BOM i am working on for my BFF’s new baby, i think these fabrics would be perfect, since she is the one that introduced me to you. I love modern designs with a sprinkle of traditional. Thanks for the offering!
I love working with all colors and prints. I like to donate my work to others who are in need of help.
My email is – [email protected]
Fabric junky- I like arts and crafts patterns and soft colours! But I love all fabric 🙂
wow what a fantastic giveaway! I like strong colors and good contrasts, because I am almost blind so I need those contrasts if I want to be able to see the patterns! I do like geometric shapes, usually because those have clean lines separating them from the background and therefore giving me the contrasts … I do like subtle shades and complex patterns, but it disappoints me when I can’t really see the detail 🙁 … however if somebody describes the fabrics for me I can happily work with what I see in my mind! 🙂
Thanks again for hosting this great giveaway!

I don’t know what kind of fabrics I like because I am just now becoming interested in them! I do tend to like bright rainbows in general though…
Beautiful collection! I love all the colors. I tend to gravitate towards bold, graphic colors and prints.
I tend to gravitate to modern prints as well as bright colors.
I adooooore ditsy prints, but I also love a bold geometric or vintage-y floral. I’m trying to expand my horizons, though, now that I have a baby boy (he doesn’t look so good in florals).
So excited to see organic fabric! I usually choose bright colored modern and graphic prints. Sometimes traditional though.
Love all your fabrics! Especially love tiny fun prints in soft colors! A fabric store is like a candy shop!
i love florals, art deco style prints, whimsical, and anything with animals on it.
I love prints with THINGS on them! Any things- whales, robots, owls, lobsters!
jwpbride at gmail dot com
what a great give-away! I definitely gravitate toward large scale bold floral and geometric patterns. Ha, and I agree with Under the Willow above: a fabric store is like a candy shop!
Love all the different fabric! How fabulous!
I tend to gravitate towards more traditional fabric!
cristyannie (at) gmail (dot) com
I have a stack of yardage of Stitch next to me waiting to be whole-cloth free motion quilted! I am a lover of folk art inspired prints. Polish, Scandinavian, South American are some of my favorites. COLOR is a must! I search for prints that are coherent in a 7 inch square, that are easy to trace as I quilt. Some extra negative space is a big plus for sneaking in micro-stippling. I am excited to be using Stitch to launch my organic line this year.
Let’s see, I love traditional prints, florals and geometrics both bold and more subtle colors as well!
I like prints that I can mix so that they look like a genuine scrap quilt.
I gravitate toward bold colors and prints. Sometimes, I have to restrain myself (yeah, right) and buy a solid here or there. I can’t wait to buy Stitch!
I love any print that looks like it belongs in a Swedish fairytale. How’s that for specific?
I love this collection! Thanks for offering a give-away. I find myself returning to large florals over and over again… in any and all color schemes, but usually cabbage roses and the like.
I’m a big fan of modern prints, but love a good mix!
[email protected]
I gravitate towards neutrals! Amy @ gasudimack(at)sbcglobal(dot)net
I love Modern Geometrics in bold colors
Geeezzz, I thought I had entered this giveaway, and then my daughter in Sweden told me about it, and I looked and cannot find my name. I love large-scale prints, bright bold colors, and geometrics such as dots and stripes to go with the large prints.
This is amazing and incredibly generous!
When I choose fabric it really depends on my mood and the project I am preparing to make but I do tend to choose bold and funky over any other.
I have been on the search for some nice organic fabric to start something I haven’t tried yet which is sewing clothes for my toddler and her dolls and these fabrics would be perfect! Not only because of the designs but because my daughter has been an organic/green baby since birth 🙂
I own an earth friendly brand – Dandelion! We’re looking for new opportunities using organic fabrics for children’s toys! LOVE your prints!
Love natural hues and natural patterns with occasional splashes of bright colors.
[email protected]
i love fabrics with a vintage feel. i am crazy about fabric in general though!
Recently I have really been enjoying bright fabrics and bolder prints, thanks for a wonderful giveaway!
I love florals, polka dots, and vintage inspired prints. I like both muted and bold colors, depending on my mood and the season. 🙂
First of all I love all the patterns…the generosity & the fact that you go organic!
I love the florals with big prints and your vintage styling. I so appreciate your designs. Thank you for continuing to push forward.
Be well.. Sunshine & happiness. Kimm
I like me some nature inspired prints… with muted backgrounds that have variations in color to create depth.
I think it really comes down to an issue of color to me – it’s the first thing I see. If the pattern showcases the colors well, chances are, it will be going home with me.
I love old timey patterns, like old florals, cute whimsical designs like old fashioned children (the kind with big heads and poofy diapers), and gingham!
I really just walk up and down the fabric isles and see what grabs my eye and holds my attention! So i guess its probably colors and combinations of colors that first grab me then the print. That being said i suppose florals and modern patterns in the right colors are my fav!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Jen Graz
thank you for such a fabulous opportunity!!
I gravitate toward large scale floral prints in bold colors, I love COLOR!!! <3

I just love a good stripe! Thanks for hosting a great giveaway.
I love bright, bold colors, florals, and modern fabrics- large or small scale. Your Stitch collection is beautiful! Congrats!
I love the vintage look and color and so much more. The look of the color combos in this bundle are just the thing I love. In fact it would be the perfect birthday gift for my 60th birthday on February 10. Thank for all your inspirations, Betz! valiegal
I love florals and I am a sucker for paisley. Seems so old school, but I love the look. I like deep colors. If I want some something differentI have to take my daughter fabric shopping with me, she helps me step out of the box and choose fun fabrics!
I think it really depends on the project. Although have recently made some purchases just because I loved the prints (Catkin, and some deco-style dragonflies) and don’t have the slightest clue what I’ll do with them. I love batiks, subtle textured “solids”, and almost anything with stars, moons, or other celestial objects.
Thanks for the chance to win. Stitch looks awesome!
Your line is beautiful!! I love modern prints, usually in bright bold colors, and I have a special place in my heart for stripes. Anything that reminds me of candy makes me happy. 🙂
I’m a “take no prisoners” kinda woman so I like bold prints.
Thanks so much for the lovely giveaway and good luck with this new project.
I gravitate more towards the cool spectrum, and I love modern color combinations such as grey/mustard or aqua/orange

Large graphic florals or small ditsy prints are usually my favorites. I’m always trying to expand my horizons, but I’m a bit traditional at heart!
I love to work with small scale classic prints. Throw in some large scale florals for fun!
wow how great is this… i tend to love prints in bold colors.
Thank you for this opportunity! In looking at my fabric stash, I seem to gravitate to vintage florals in bold colors.
Hello,
What isn’t to love about beautiful
fabric. I love them all. Bright,
bold, soft and all for me to treasure.
Jody
At the moment, I like brighter colors and geometric patterns, but I’ll admit that I’m fickle–it’s often whatever beautiful fabric or print I’ve seen last.
Thanks so much for the giveaway! Your fabric is gorgeous!
I love toile in any color/pattern – not sure why but haven’t met a toile I didn’t like ; ) If I win this stack, can I make the stich along tote out of it or does that take larger bits of fabric? Congratulations! Jill
The fabrics are just beautiful! I tend to gravitate toward florals, but also love bold colors!
I love big bold prints but I also love medium size ones in moderate colors. I go back and forth depending on my mood.
THe fabric line you show here is very swoon worthy.
I tend to go for bright, fun prints the most but I also like Little House on the Prairie-type prints.
I love geometrics and modern…but then I also love to add a little whimsy and fun into things too! You’ve created a beautiful fabric line!!
I see myself as a traditional girl. But I have been making myself buy outside of my comfort box. It makes it fun!!
I love your new line! Thanks for the opportunity!
ellyk_11 at yahoo dot com
Love modern smaller prints with geometric designs (LOVE circles) or adorable little animals. My husband makes fun of me for being a magnet to cute little fat animals with beady eyes…I just can’t resist. I also love any fabric that is gray…I’m obsessed right now with gray fabrics and I think I see one in that bundle! Thanks for the chance.
i definitely migrate toward bold, modern, geometric prints with some great small scale, monochrome accent fabrics too. i love this collection!
Wow do I love this fabric! You picked my favorite colors! Or maybe just the brightness of the colors? Not sure, but I can’t even say which one is my favorite!
Organic fabric is hard to find in my area. So glad to see some (& so pretty at that!). I love vintage mini florals in reds, pinks, and baby blues.
Hei!
I love all kind of big and geomatric and colorful fabrics.
I’m from Europa and I love to win that give away. So I would pay for the shipping – if I win *fingers crossed*

I like medium hue with bright colors if that makes sence. Sort of why I never have lights or darks in my stash. The prints well ditsy as you put it to medium scale, geometric, traditional, modern, some floral. Thanks for the opportunity to win a fab stack!
It depends on my mood. I love all kinds of prints.
These are wonderful!
I am still a novice sewer. I gravitate to interesting solids/tonals and more novelty prints: usually large scale and themed, animals, knitting, ocean, etc. But these look super awesome and will be definitely something I’ll buy if it is available at my local shop.
I love bright colors! If it pops off the fabric in some way, I am IN!
allthingsfee.blogspot.com
oh my goodness…. I saw your prints on fabrics.com yesterday (loved them!) I am planning to make a spring picnic quilt for backyard picnics this year. then I see Blair’s post this morning- where she gives you a beautiful “shout out!”~ and I think…. hmmm… destiny has its cards on the table. nice job with STITCH!
Congrats Betz on the debut of your wonderful collection!! I love sweet baby prints, lovely florals, geometric, vintage, tonal prints, soft tones & bold colors – depends on the project! Thanks for all the beauty you share with the world:)
[email protected]
I like more modern, non-flowery prints. I got a couple yards of a few of the Stitch prints-can’t wait to sew with them!
I initially was going to say I like muted colors, but I am so indecisive, I really think my fabric choices reflect my mood at the time I am buying.
What an awesome giveaway! I love all fabrics and the print/colors depend on what room I’m in. Here lately though, I’ve like muted, simple prints.
[email protected]
Very generous givaway! And such beautiful fabrics!
I personally go for geometric prints and small florals.
Thanks!
They’re gorgeous prints! I just discovered them through another post, and i’m glad!
I can’t really pin it down what prints I like best, but in general, I like bold colors and modern prints. Thanks for the chance to win such beautiful fabric!
sunset.sewing(at)gmail dot com
I love bold, bright prints; they add a real pop of color to a room. But, I also like stripes and other patterned prints. It just depends on the mood, I guess! 🙂
I am mostly drawn to bright and rich colors, so this set of prints is intensely awesome for me! Super excited to know it’s out there!
Hello Betz,
I like the muted traditional fabrics and the bold bright moderns, go figure! LOVE your line 🙂
Suzanne
Truly I think I gravitate toward them all for different purposes. For myself I prefer blues and greens. For my kiddos bright bold colors. For my house a more muted palette. I didn’t make it easy for you now did I.
What a beautiful collection! I love traditional prints, polka dots and stripes, and bold florals.
I just love fabric of any kind! Seriously, traditional and modern seem to be my most often chosen for my stash.
A peek at my stash reveals a love for deep or bright colors, tone-on-tone, large floral or abstract prints, birds and flowers, and a preference for off-white backgrounds.
The stitchery references in your fabrics are charming! i love them!
I gravitate towards black and white fabrics and primary colors! Since I end up making a lot of baby quilts, the primary colors are always a hit!
rosemc2 at juno dot com
This is a beautiful collection. I always admire those lovely muted creations that some people make but, in truth, I’m a colour junkie – bold bright and preferably with some huge florals!
Jennifer
I love modern/geometric/bold prints!
Thanks!!!
ZoeViolet(at)live(dot)com
Hallo and thanks! I like floral and traditional prints
Good luck to you!
i like stripes, polka dots, japanese florals.
I love fun prints, floral prints and vintage looking prints. Thank you so much for this opportunity!
I love retro prints, with lots of color. Your new line is great.
What a beautiful collection ! My taste in fabrics is always changing but right now I am enjoying those early 20th century repro floral prints…and anything vintage looking. Thank you for the giveaway !
I like more contemporary fabrics with medium to small scale florals and geometrics in almost any color. However, I’m not a fan of pink – more into blues, greens, browns, and jewel tones as in your stack.
I love these prints. I have lately been gravitating to the florals.
I love the colors and designs of your fabric, so fun.
I like modern prints with bold colors in general, but it really depends on the project,
crosby0 (at) gmail.com
bright & whimsical – usually bought without a real plan, creating a stash that’s on hand when creativity strikes 🙂
I like Geometric prints, bright colors and some small prints. I also like prints with kids/boys stuff on them. 🙂
I love bright colors, and more contemporary than traditional, but not too edgy.
I love it all…especially when in a generous giveaway! Congratulations, so exciting!
I love Civil War/reproduction fabrics for quilts and bright and bold for bags. Your fabrics are beautiful!
ohhh… what a great giveaway! and what i tend to gravitate towards are bold, modern patterns. however, i also love me some florals. 🙂
I have such a hard time deciding with prints. I like using bold, modern prints, but I’m also fond of muted, traditional prints. I guess it depends what I’m using it for!
I definitely gravitate toward blenders, single color pallets, and anything GREEN!
What a fantastic giveaway! My taste sort of waver but right now I lean more towards geometric and floral.
I like prints that are small and fun.. I am starting to like small florals which is quite odd for me! Congratulations on your line!
Of late, I’ve been leaning toward whimsical japanese prints – just made a purse from older echino viewmaster reel fabric. I really like bolder colors, geometrics.
I am such a traditional purist but am trying so hard to evolve into loving more then my regular go to/make a quilt fabric. I am really liking the bold color combinations and the big florals are calling me more and more. I have several large paisleys in my stash and feel I will have an epiphany soon on what I want to make with them. Thanks for a nice giveaway. Your fabric rocks
I love all kinds of fabrics…dainty florals, bold colors, monocromatic, muted colors… I buy what what my eye is drawn to.

I love some space age/cosmic bachelor pad fabrics…the colors and the designs.

Wow! What a generous giveaway. I love your new fabric collection – lots of blues and I am needed that color. I gravitate to the bright colors and love geometric prints, although I am trying to do better about purchasing a variety of prints and sizes of prints for my stash! Fingers crossed!
ljhlaw{at}cableone{dot}net
i love florals! i am a big fan on vintage fabric and like a combination of delicate and bold patterns and colors! thanks for doing this giveaway!
I love geometrics and I’m also drawn to modern, large-scale florals! Thanks for the giveaway!
I am always drawn to florals. Your fabrics are beautiful! Thanks for the generous giveaway. Fingers crossed!!
I DEFINITELY tend to gravitate toward bold colors! Kim [email protected]
I really like modern prints, but ones that still harken back to a traditional style–less Marimekko, more Josef Frank. And I LOVE these prints you’ve created! I hope I win, but even if I don’t, they still need to become a quilt in my house!
Woot! This is fabulous, lady! I am lovin’ these colors and, of course, the content. I tend to gravitate towards bright colors and large scale geometric prints. The choice also depends a bit on the project. I often lean towards muted pastels and primaries for baby items. I am quickly learning I need more small scale, though, to use as complements and fillers. Thanks for the fabulous giveaway!
small prints, funky prints (anything with campers) or vintage-y art nouveau.
I love modern, vintage, and everything in between! I love your new fabric line, I just saw it at the fabric store the other day, they only had three prints, but it’s beautiful! And I especially love that it’s organic!
I graviate towards florals of all sizes. I bought some Liberty in LA about 20 years ago for about 9$ a yard. I made a dress and gave it away. I didn’t know what I had! Yikes. I could wear it now and I wish I had kept it!
I love large scale but hate to cut into it. I like bright, small, geometric prints and don’t forget solids. *LOVE* your latest!
I love all the modern prints, especially when paired with muted colors. This combo leaves more visual space for the shape of the finished project or embellishment.
Geometrics and bold colors, definitely! So exciting!
These are beautiful! Thanks for the chance to win them.
I love prints that make me smile, always gravitate to happy colors, and usually can’t resist stripes. Love your new line and the inspiration behind it! leahclaireh(at)gmail(dot)com
I like to wear ditsy prints but for the house I like geometrics.
I LOVE your new collection and would love to win the fabric generously donated by Robert Kaufman. Thank you so much for a chance at the give away!
Julie Mc
Love prints, bright colors, simple, whimsical, fun! And I’m talking about for adults, LOL!
WOWZA!!! this looks like such cool fabric…love it!!
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. The fabrics are lovely! For quilts I usually gravitate towards medium and small scale, modern and vintage prints…bright colors. For bags: big florals, paisleys, stripes, dots and fleur de lis patterns.
I love the traditional prints in soft colors – guess I am a traditionalist!
All of your prints are beautiful – I gravitate towards blues & greens mostly. Anything with an interesting graphic print is best! I am going to make a quilt for our king size bed and this would be the jump start I need!
What a great give-away! I tend to gravitate toward color more than print. I love am in love with aqua and red. Also, the more scandi the print, the better.
Anything pright, pink, retro, and funky floral. I just can’t get enough color.

What a generous giveaway. I just found your blog from Mimi Kirchner’s Doll blog. Lucky me! I’m going to make the fingerless gloves! Thanks for the idea! Oh, and I like quirky prints and faded colors.
[email protected]
Right now I haven’t got a certain style other than bright colors. I just love the bold graphics and colors of todays prints. But I also like 30’s prints!
I just LOVE STITCH and featured it in my blog one day as a result: http://www.apeyleedesigns.blogspot.com/2012/01/cant-wait-to-stitch.html
Please, please choose me!!!
I find the prints I love change greatly with my mood. Right now though, I’m loving big, colorful, modern, somewhat childlike prints. Can’t get enough of them!
What a fabulous giveaway!! I absolutely love florals.
Lovely fabrics! I tend to prefer bright vintage-inspired fabrics. My email is abbey.franklin at yahoo.com
I love fabric remnents pieces, drawn to lots of big print and flowery type things, I love this giveaway, I make pocketbooks, so im always looking for variety of fabrics and prints. Thank you for the chance….
My eyes are attracted to the combination of colors more than the size of the print or the style of the print. I tend to gravitate to cool colors.
I think I would have said geometrics or florals before looking at your collection, and truthfully there is not one piece of fabric there that I don’t like! I like the stitched look ones a lot, they remind me of some of my favorite scrapbook papers. Thanks for offering this giveaway.
Those are so lovely! Right now I’m realizing that my tastes are now skewing more modern, such a change from the way I usually approach patterns. I was a floral girl for so long………….
I tried posting earlier, but I don’t think it went through. I love these fabrics – so cute! I tend to prefer bright, vintage-inspired fabrics. When making clothes for my little boy, I like to use some menswear fabrics as well as bold and colorful prints. My contact email is abbey.franklin @ yahoo dot com. Hope I win!
Love the fabrics, love to win!
I like the cool colors…or maybe the warm ones. How about those brilliant pinks to make that project bag? yes! Those!

Put me in for the drawing! Love the new prints. You always have such fun stuff!
I am not kidding when I say that I’ve been eyeing this collection since its debut, and have the perfect fat quarter quilt pattern in mind to put these to good use. The stitched flowers and patchwork prints are my favorites. This is an amazing giveaway – thank you, and Robert Kaufman too! If my name is chosen (I hope! I hope!) please contact me through my blog. 🙂
Colors usually draw my eye before prints, but I love all different types. Right now I seem to be buying more geometric prints.
I must be honest…I have always loved Liberty prints!
Congrats on your beautiful new collection of fabric! Love the bright, clear colors and modern prints! [email protected]
Beautiful colors/combinations & patterns! I usually gravitate towards retro 50s & 60s prints, leaf patterns, modern florals, batiks, tonal groupings. I have recently been attracted to bolder color groupings – after too many years of muted color combos. I’d love to use your fabrics to make something for my 4 yo daughter, perhaps a comforter cover/quilt or some fun dolls/stuffed animals.
