Some sneak peeks of my new bag sewing patterns! Both are being test-sewn and will be proofed, photographed and revealed in the next few weeks! Quilt Market is coming up fast and I need to have these ready-freddie.
The top bag is made from my stash of favorite vintage sheets. The bottom bag is made from RK’s Pure Organic Solids. Good thing they are organic, because the color is so yummy I want to eat them!
As you can see, even from these little peeks, both bags are very hex-centric. I’ve been totally fascinated with hexagons lately. I see them everywhere and I can’t get enough. Honeycomb, chicken wire, tile floors, a Chinese Checker board, even pomegranate seeds! I could go on, but I won’t. I’ve got work to do!
Hope your week is most hexcellent…
Nice teaser pics! The bottom one is like hexie sherbet! Yum indeed!
Wonderful colors!
These are gorgeous!
Happy Birthday (a day late!)—- Betz— we share a birthday. It seems all the really groovy creative girls do! 😉 I blogged my age and banana phone, nothing as cool as hexy goodness!
Love making new things from vintage fabrics! Wonderful colours and cute design! We just made some pillows out of vintage Hawaiian drapes and added some needle points that we’d made. Really love your idea here! We are new bloggers (mother/daughter duo) and would love for you to stop by and visit us newbies if you have a chance. http://www.puddlesprice.com
