I know you know about Kona solids and how wonderful they are to work with. But my TRUE favorite solid quilting cottons are PURE organics, also from Robert Kaufman. While the number of color choices is not as extensive as Kona, the PURE palette is growing. 16 new colors are coming this fall including a range of blues, more greens and neutrals, a few brights and PURPLES!

For the Hex Messenger Bag on my pattern cover, I used Roll-Up strips of PURE organics in Bright Pink, Orange, Cherry, and Red. The pattern instructions detail how to make this version as well as the purple “prism” variation shown above. You can find the pattern in my Craftsy pattern shop and on etsy.

Shops will be able to place orders for the new PURE colors this month and they will be ready to ship in September!
