Happy September! I’ve missed you! Ok I know, I’m the one that took the blog break, but I did miss you and blogging regularly. I needed some space to focus on the family this summer and to get my head around some new exciting projects!
Work wise, this summer was all about pushing envelopes: Developing new skills and stretching the boundaries of the ones I already have. In the coming weeks you’ll see some sneak peeks leading up to the reveal of a new concept I’m adding to my sewing pattern line. I’m really excited about it!
These delicious organic cotton prints are on my worktable this week. They are slated for a quilt design that I intend to sell as a pattern. I’m loving this bluesy palette right now with white and a touch of grey. (This is a mix of Cloud 9, Timeless Treasures, and Robert Kaufman fabrics! All organic!)
This fuzzy muzzle belongs to one of many friends I made this summer. Get it? Friends I made? More on them soon. We’re planning a cover photo shoot this week so I’ll be sending them to the “L’Oreal Paris Hair and Make up Room”. (Just a little Project Runway joke). I only work with natural beauties!
Look forward to seeing your new exciting projects! Love the muzzle. Happy September!
Hooray felt!! I can’t wait to meet your new friends. I hope they come with patterns;o)

Those blue fabrics create some nice depth just sitting there waiting. I’m sure your pattern will be magnificent! The polar bear is so cute – makes me want to go hug Georgie!!! His brain is stuffed, too. Happy Autumn, Betz! Good things are just around the bend.
Hi, I love the blues with the touch or gray. Blue is my very favorite color. I am a new follower and a quilter when I find the time. Right now I’m a messing with yarn, but have been wanting to dust off my sewing machine and get stitchin’.
