This week I have a yummy stack of organic cotton on my worktable from Monaluna! Jennifer Moore’s latest collection, Modern Home, is so fun and fresh, I can’t wait to get stitching with it. One of my favorite prints is called “Llama Love”. Adorable!
This is my sweet Llama Mama from my childhood. It came from Peru, given to me by my Aunt Nancy. Llama Mama is a little lumpy and worse for wear, but I still love her. Her best features are her ear tassels and bendable legs. Now she lives on the shelf above my desk and keeps an eye on things for me. By the way, she definitely approves of these fabrics! (If you are interested in snatching up your own llama print, here’s where to buy.http://www.monaluna.com/)
What’s on your worktable this week?
Llama Love is beautiful….I want something made of that. And also, Llama Mama makes me very, very happy 🙂
That’s what Llama Mamas do!
I am writing a pattern for a cable knit X-O mug cozy. Valentine’s Day gifts. It’s coming along pretty well but I really feel like it would be going better if I had a Llama Mama looking over my work. Great fabric BTW!!
Sounds like a cute pattern!

Are you familiar with the children’s book,”Is Your Mama a Lama?” When I saw the fabric and then the stuffed animal, this book came to mind. Check it out.
