Spring is sloooow coming isn’t it? I thought we could all use a little transition piece to get us through these unpredictable days of spring! A while back I was playing around with a some organic cotton jersey from Alabama Chanin and came up with this fun little scarf/shrug accessory. I love the versatility of this idea.
And on warmer days it can be used as a shrug. It’s cute with a sleeveless top and can be just the thing to throw on when going from outdoors into someplace air conditioned.
The construction is basically a long tube with an opening in the seam to slip your arms into. The bottom has lettuce edging and some decorative scribble stitching. I’ll be back later in the week with details for making this!
So, so cool and cute!! Can’t wait to see how you put it together!
Thanks, Jan! I know you’re a scarf girl!
Eeeek… love it! I want one in steel grey!!!!!
sounds pretty pretty!
I think this is the first time I look at a shrug and say
“OMG I have to have one of these” I’ll be watching.
LOL, yes shrugs can be hit or miss. 🙂
That is so cute!
