In Organic Fabric

I have a few new prints in my Spoonflower shop that I want to share with you here in fabric form. They turned out super yummy! (The color is not represented well in the display image the Spoonflower, so keep these pics in mind if you are interested in ordering this fabric.)

My Paint Drop design has sort of a graphic marbleized feeling but it also reads a bit “peacock” to me. I’ve printed it here on a beefy cotton linen canvas. I have a new bag design in mind for this print and I’m pairing it with some Robert Kaufman Essex linen in Indigo, above. I can’t wait to cut into these and get sewing.

Here’s another new geometric design that I’m calling Circuit Board, also printed on cotton linen canvas. This time I’m paring it with some rich brown waxed canvas that I bought on etsy. Waxed canvas is very cool and has a distressed leather look and feel without the weight. It’s durable, water repellant and fun to sew with. I’ll tell you more about waxed canvas in another post!

And what’s this? A little sneaky peek of my latest bag design! This bag is going to be super functional and hip including details like contrast top stitching, hardware and a recessed zipper closure. I’ll be testing this pattern in the next few weeks and hope to have it ready to go in early November!
