If you live in or near the Virginia/Maryland/Washington DC area, I hope you’ll join me next month at Fibre Space! On February 8th I’ll be teaching a Felted Wrist Warmers class. Join me and learn everything there is to know about recycled felting and make a cozy pair of wrist warmers to usher out Winter and welcome Spring!

I’ll show you felting tips from selecting a well-loved woolly sweater, to felting it in the washer and transforming it into one-of-a-kind wrist warmers. If you have been wanted to know more about felting, this is a great way to learn. Plus I’ll be sharing my stash of “finely curated” felted wool scraps and doo-dads! I’ll also be bringing along my needle felting tools if you’d like to add any extra motifs to your wristlets, like the heart shown above.

I’ve taught this class at Fibre Space before and it was a super fun felty time with lots of experimentation. Registration is open now and space is limited. I’m really looking forward to this *hands on* class. I hope you’ll join in the fun!
