Tomorrow I’ll be heading to Pennsylvania Dutch country to teach at the Mid-Atlantic Mod modern quilting retreat! The retreat is being held in Lancaster, PA, just a few hours drive from home. I’ll be teaching a Pleated Pillow workshop and taking a few workshops as well.

 

 

The pleated pillow is part of my Pleated Pillow Trio Pattern. I decided to make a sunny rainbow version in honor of Spring finally showing it’s face around here!

 

 

I used fabrics from my stash…mostly Robert Kaufman Pure Organic Solids and a few prints from my Stitch Collection.

 

 

For the front pillow base and backing I used Essex Linen again…I have used this on several projects lately and I love it as a nice grounding neutral. I can’t wait to teach this class and see what everyone comes up with. I’ll be taking lots of photos and posting on Instagram over the weekend so tune in over there if you want to see what’s happening!
