Spoonflower is featuring my book, Present Perfect, in their give-away this week! Head on over to Spoonflower to enter by Tuesday October 7th 2014 for a chance to win a copy of the book and three yards of custom-printed Eco Canvas!
To give you an idea of the book and the fabric up for grabs, I thought I’d whip up a little project from Present Perfect. This is the Cargo Tablet Sleeve, shown here in Spoonflower’s Eco Canvas. Eco Canvas is 100% polyester made with 45% recycled content. The print is something I designed and I’m still tweaking, more on that later. Look at those colors! I used Spoonflower’s printed color map to choose just what I wanted and they turned out rich and vibrant. I paired it with a gray waxed canvas and red Kona cotton for the lining.
The Cargo Tablet Sleeve project shown in Present Perfect uses different hardware, but I decided to mix things up and use a tuck catch closure. If you’re unfamiliar with installing tuck catches, you may like to check out the video How To Install a Tuck Catch I made explaining the process.
So click on over to the Spoonflower blog and enter to win! Yay!
