I’ve got one last Dutch Treat Fabric round-up for you…quilts, of course! It’s a natural since it’s printed on soft quilting cotton.
First up is this beauty by Casey York! In her words: “Although the Pennsylvania Dutch settlers were actually of German descent, I took a cue from the name of the collection in creating a simple design inspired by the shapes and layout of Delft tiles from the Netherlands. These types of tiles often display intricate pictorial scenes and decorative patterns, and I love the idea of using a similar layout to spotlight textile designs.” I love it! The layout really lets the prints shine! Read more about it on Casey’s blog.
Kim of Persimmon Dreams shared her lovely Dutch Treat quilt! She was inspired by pinwheels that reminded her of windmills and that all felt very Dutch-y to her! The charcoal ground prints really make this pop! There are more photos to see on her blog.
This super sweet quilt top was designed by Cristy of Purple Daisies Quilting. It’s a modified version of her Dutch Darlings quilt and I just love it! Those tulips are so cute, I can’t wait to see more!
Rebekah of The Little Red Thread outdid herself with a gorgeous quilt AND tutorial! I love how she used white and green to really offset the elements in this quilt. Dreamy!
Have you quilted with Dutch Treat? I’d love to see what you’ve made!
These are all so wonderful! It’s so cool how different each one is even though we all started with basically the same base! Thanks for letting me play with your gorgeous fabrics
