In Roundup, Sew-along, Sewing Pattern

I hope you enjoyed the Patchwork Llama Pillow Sew-along we just finished up in March. I thought I would take a moment and share a few llamas that I’ve seen pop up around Instagram and the School of Wool Facebook group.

Look how cute!!! From left to right, top to bottom: Alyson of @alysonwonderlan used soft pink calicos and a houndstooth wool fabric. Jill of @slipperscholtz used Juxtaposey fabric and repurposed red velveteen pants. Janie of @janienut used a combination of Tula Pink fabric and some beautiful green solids, and Jan of @janrenehh used Juxtaposey fabrics and turquoise wool for her adorable llama.

If you didn’t stitch a long with us, you still can, at your own pace! The pattern and fabrics are available in my shop and you can find all of the links to the sew-along here:

Day 5

I drew a random name from the Patchwork Llama photos posted online and Jill of @slippersholtz is the winner! I will be sending off a little package of goodies to her later this week. In other news, I will be posting more wool in the shop for those of you requesting more Fat 1/8’s to make more llamas! So stay tuned for that.

*EDITED TO ADD: It’s been brought to my attention that my original blog post had April 15th as the deadline for the giveaway! OOPS! Guess I’m an April fool. I will make it up to you! Keep posting your Llamas in the School of Wool Facebook group or on Instagram tagged with #betzwhitellamalong for another round-up and prize!

Thank you so much for hosting this #llamalong ! I am excited to have won your drawing and I look forward to receiving a fun package! In the meantime, I love the idea of using some repurposed denim in a llama! Such a cute pattern
