It’s time for ornament-making!!! Oh, my favorite time of year is upon us. If you’ve been reading my blog over the years you know that I’m all about the fun felty festive ornaments!
Introducing the 2019 Holiday Ornament Workshop! Yep, this year I’m mixing it up and actually showing you what ornaments we’ll making ahead of time! I know, right? No mysterious reveals I’m just letting the cat outta the bag in one big swoop!
I love designing in “collections” so I was excited to come up with this friendly little group of 3 classic holiday designs. They’re a little nostalgic yet updated and fresh at the same time. Plus, CUTE. Because that’s how we roll around here.
The workshop will be hosted in my online school. Early Bird registration is happening now! Starting November 11th, I’ll be teaching you how to make these adorable hand stitched ornaments, step by step through photo and video tutorials. You’ll learn my tricks and tips for marking and cutting felt, basic embroidery stitches, assembly techniques and more! And once you enroll you’ll have forever access to the content!
On November 11th we’ll start with the adorable little Rocking Horse.
On November 25th we’ll begin stitching the Toy Train.
And on December 9th we’ll tackle the Nutcracker! By the way, no sewing machine is needed for these ornaments, just hand stitching, gluing and a bit of embroidery!
I hope you are as excited as I am to get started! You can read about all of the details and register over on this page. Don’t forget, if you sign up before November 11th you’ll get the Early Bird discount, a savings of $10! Oh and if you want to purchase materials, I have a limited number of Ornament Supply Packs my shop.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Since I am in the UK, could you tell me what thickness of felt you use – I am dying to make your lovely ornaments!
It’s about 1/16″ or about 2mm. 🙂
