Introducing the latest project in the Lil’ Felt Village Make-along Club, Grandma’s House!
This design was inspired by the children’s folk song “Over the River and Through the Woods” (to Grandmother’s house we go!) I always get that song stuck in my head at Thanksgiving time. You too? Is it stuck now? You’re welcome. 😉
I had so much fun decorating this little cottage! There’s a wreath on the front door and side window. Glittery felt snow accents the roof and window sills for a little sparkle and shine.
The other side has a nice big pine tree for decorating with embroidery. For extra interest, this project has 2 dormers and 2 chimneys!
I love every aspect of making these little houses but my absolute favorite step is putting the tea light inside and illuminating the frosty vellum windows. So cozy! 🙂
If you haven’t joined the Lil’ Felt Village Make-along Club yet, you still can! We’re getting a lot of new members as the holidays are approaching. We’re just getting started on Winterville which will have 3 projects, total. Plus you’ll have access to the previous seasons: Autumnville, Springville and Summerville to make any time! Once you join, club access never ends. Check out the info page here.
Winter Supply Packs are available in my shop!
