Surprise! I bet you already knew that you can use the Llamallooma Pom-pom Maker to create pom-poms and tassels. But did you know that you can also use it to create thick beautiful cords? Me neither! Haha!
I recently received a restock of my self-designed fiber tool for my shop and began playing around with other ideas. I remembered using a tool once, called a lancet, to make braids or cords out of yarn. I gave the technique a whirl with my Llamallooma and it worked! I love the results.
Watch the video, above, to see how easy it is, then try it yourself!
The simplest project to make is a long garland in festive yarn for a Christmas tree. You could also make pom-poms or tassels to tie onto the garland!
Or make some short cords and tie the ends together for a bracelet or a little wreath ornament. Super easy and cute! You can experiment with different types of yarn too, whatever you have in your stash. I can’t wait to play with all of the possibilities.
