Embroidered Wrist Warmers

This week I posted a photo on Instagram of these embroidered wrist warmers from my class, Embroider Your Knits with Flowers. I received a sweet comment from someone saying that they loved them SO much, they were almost inspired to learn how to knit. No worries! I didn’t knit these, I sewed them from a piece of felted wool, cut from a thrifted sweater. You see, the class is all about embroidering knits of any kind. Yes, hand knits, but also that store bought sweater in the back of your closet or one at the second-hand shop. No knitting skills needed! Her comment was really helpful because it made me stop to think. Maybe I wasn’t clear enough in my class description. I love feedback from my students and potential students. The teacher is always learning!
