I’ve got a little Valentine project for you called Felt Love! This project is based on a felt “ogee” tutorial I did on my blog years and years ago.
You’ll start with a piece of flat felt, make a few strategic cuts, fold, stitch and viola! A cool 3D shape emerges. This time we’re starting with a heart shape, of course!
You can make this as simple or as involved as you’d like. One lone heart makes a sweet ornament. Many hearts can become a garland or a whole waterfall of hearts! The felt balls are optional but they add just a touch of whimsy and weight to the floaty felt hearts.
I’ve put together a 3 page PDF with all of the instructions and templates for you to download and print that you can get for free when you sign up for my email list here. I hope you’ll make this and please let me know if you do!
