As you regular visitors know, I recently updated my blog with a new “template”. I knew there would be some minor glitches and a few rough edges that would need smoothing. Jiminy crickets! I had no idea all of the links to my blog from other places would result in a “404 Error” message!
Because of my update, my blog URL changed. Therefore, anyone that linked to, say, the cashmere bunny tutorial, will not be directed to that exact page. They will instead be redirected to the most recent entry of my blog or to my website homepage.
But fear not, the new template allows me to do something I’ve always wanted to do on my blog. Take a look over in the right hand side bar. I have a handy little organized list of links to all of the tutorials I’ve done. Yay! One stop tutorial shopping.
BTW, If you’ve subscribed to my RSS feed, you’ll need to unsubscribe, then resubscribe. That should do the trick. Of course, if you don’t find your way here, I can’t tell you about it! *sigh*
For a little balance, I now present Still Life: Old Tech, courtesy of my local Saver’s thrift store. I love this old phone. I had to explain to my kids about dialing. I may use it as a doorstop, it’s so heavy! I couldn’t resist the pretty teacup with the robin’s egg blue inside and the little suitcase. They just make me happy.
Oh yeah, and thanks for all of the “caterpillar” love this week. My parents were in town this week and I gave the pink and green one to my mom. She’s my #1 fan…
I’m glad you sorted out most of the technical issues. I love old phones, they are so much fun to dial with (please Don’t use it as a doorstop!) Love the cute suitcase and teacup too.
i’m so glad you said something b/c i thought it was just my rss feed to your blog that was broken….i kept thinking “hmm…why isnt she posting much anymore?”
LOVE that phone btw…
I love your new blog look. I am getting really into green lately. That tutorial sidebar is fantastic. Hope you are doing well. I am sure it is busy for you.
I love it that you have all of your tutorials in one spot…..such a great idea!!
lol about the phone, i know what you mean. we went on holiday to a thatched cottage by the sea (i’m in the uk) at easter and the phone had a dial, none of the kids could understand how to use it!
I thought you were on vacation or swamped with book stuff because my rss reader wasn’t getting stuff from you. Now I know. Can’t wait to catch up.
