This may be a little early in our blog relationship to reveal something like this….but what the heck. Observe the stash.
OK, well, this is just a partial peek…let’s take it slow.
Knitters have a yarn stash, I have a wool sweater stash. Most are from the Good Will and some are donated directly to me. These are what I use to make all of the recycled wool fuzzies in my collection. And since I’m all about recycling, what better storage than these handy-dandy recycling bins?! Not only that, but these are recycled recycling bins (formerly used for the disposal of my Diet Coke cans and JCrew catalogs before we had curbside pick-up).
You may have noticed there are only scraps in the bins. One for little scraps, one for medium scraps, etc. The bulk of my sweater stash now insulates the basement in very organized bins. But you can’t go down there. There are some things best left unrevealed.
Seeing that makes me feel SO happy inside! So many homeless sweaters find a home and a new purpose in life.
