It’s already June and Father’s Day is coming up quick, June 19th! I pulled together a few quick-sew gift ideas that would be great for Father’s Day!
The Cargo Tech Case covers and protects an iPad or other tablet and can be made with waxed canvas, denim or any other durable fabric. This project is available in my book, Present Perfect.
Also from Present Perfect, is the Gentleman’s Travel Case. I made this one from an old pair of jeans and lined it with fabric from a thrifted dress shirt. Handsome and practical!
The Firewood Sling is upcycled from a freebie canvas tote. Great for the camp or hauling firewood in for the fireplace. Firewood Sling Tutorial
If the Dad in your life is less of a camper and more of a cook, upcycle that canvas tote into a BBQ Apron instead! BBQ Apron Tutorial
I hope these ideas inspire you! What other ideas do you have for Father’s Day? I love involving the kids for gifts for my husband, which usually involves food and handmade cards.
Sewing Green also has the great water bottle carrier!
