Grab your back panel (I completed mine already our first day of sewing, but if you haven’t please do stitch the bottom panel to main and then topstitch it.)

Now we are going to make the side tabs that will hold the strap! So grab those 2″ squares you cut and fold in half and press. then fold the ends to the half line, and then fold in half and topstitch along both edges.

Slide the 2 D-rings on and pin and stitch the D-rings on as close to them as you can get. I move my needle to far side position for this. You can also use a zipper foot.

Now put the tabs 1 inch down from the top and baste in place 1/8th inch from the edge.

And that is the end of day 5 !!! Next we do the zipper inside pocket!

I cannot wait to see the finish product. I went ahead and finished it all in one day (I just couldn’t wait) I have been using mine and people ask left and right where did I get it. (I might have sold mine already :))
